Synopsis :

Our memory is the source of all emotions. It is also the source of our guilt. What if a killer would wake up one day with his memory erased? Would his crimes cease to exits? What if an innocent wakes up one with his memory erased and perceives himself to be a criminal? Would that change his perception of reality?

Faltering memory continually alters the constancy of truth. Short term memory loss denies you of an identity throwing you into an abyss of excruciating agony.

Acid Factory is about a group of characters whose sense of past has vanished in a haze of coma like they have woken up from sleep only to discover that reality could be a figment of their imagination.

Their sense of right or wrong is heightened by this state of complete distrust and self-righteousness. As the story reveals through the hazy mist of confusion confounded by loss of memory, the audience is just shown the tip of the iceberg.

A high-octane thriller where every second counts and every flash of your past is either a step towards realization of the true self or the horror of the discovery of who you really are. And then the games begin as our characters start to create stories just so that they can stay in the right but what if a roomful of people realize the majority is evil?

Wouldn’t your instinct of survival dictate you to renounce yourself to evil to survive? Acid Factory plays out as a thriller, a morality play on the inside and a cat and mouse chase on the outside.

Synopsis : Film “Ek Second-Jo Zindagi Badal De”  is story of a girl named -Rashi. Her name is Rashi  but what is written in her destiny she is not aware of. There is a proverb- “whatever is written in one’s destiny in some way or other the incidents actually happen”. But if we fight against it and make the incident happen in a different way – then what will happen?

The biggest prey of the trap of destiny is happened to be – Mr. Vikram Sehgal . Vikram Sehgal is India’s famous novelist who had an affair with many girls in life. But now he is engaged with Rashi and they are soon getting married. Rashi was unaware of all those girls who were present in vikram’s life.

Then destiny played a game. Incidents change. Rashi worked in a very big company as a creative head. Rashi moved out of her house to go to office that very same day she lost her job. She reached the metro station tired and exhausted where she missed the train. And now for few hours she will not be able to get another train b’coz of some problem. May be these kinds of incidents were bound to happen in Rashi’s life. Now from here onwards our story gets divided into two parts. One part narrates that story of Rashi –where she was unable to catch the train. And second part narrates the story of that Rashi who catches the train. The incidents that happened in both stages of lives were shocking and surprising. Rashi who could not catch the train comes out of the metro station, one robber snatches her purse outside the metro station and where she gets hurt. A taxi driver takes her to the nursing home where she is treated, bandage is put and dressing is done. This all was actually written in her fate.

But on the other hand Rashi boards the train fighting with her fate. In the train she meets a person named Oni Parker – who is fun loving, joyful and kind hearted person. After the train journey she reaches Vikram’s house. On that day she catches Vikram with his girlfriend Tamanna. Both quarrel and fight with each other and Rashi breaks off the relationship for ever and walks away.

On the second part, confused by the trap of her fate, “Rashi” goes to Vikram’s house from the hospital – she does not know what is happening. Both the stories of the Rashi’s life go on differently and separately .In one part, Rashi has Vikram and in other part Rashi finds a boyfriend Oni Parker.

More exciting part of two different stories was the single end of both the stories which was more stunning . Sometimes in life a decision made in one second can turn the way of living of our life.

Jagjit Singh is a prominent Indian Ghazal singer. He gained acclaim together with his wife, another renowned Indian Ghazal singer Chitra Singh, as the first ever successful duo (husband-wife) act in the history of recorded Indian music. Together, they are considered to be the pioneers of the modern Ghazal singing and regarded as the most successful recording artistes outside the realm of Indian film music. He sings in Punjabi (his mother tongue), Hindi, Urdu, Bengali, Gujarati and Nepali languages. He was awarded Padmabhushan in 2003, the third highest civilian honour, for his contribution to music by the Government of India.

He is considered to be the most successful ghazal singer of all time, in terms of both critical acclaim and commercial success, having made the genre synonymous with his name during a career spanning over four decades. He is the only composer and singer to have composed and recorded songs written by an incumbent Prime Minister – Atal Behari Vajpayee, also a critically acclaimed poet – in two albums, Nayi Disha (1999) and Samvedna (2002). He is also the first Indian composer, and together with his wife Chitra Singh, the first recording artist in the history of Indian music to use digital multi-track recording for their (India’s first digitally recorded) album, Beyond Time (1987).

Early years and background
Jagjit Singh was born in Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan[1]. His father Amar Singh Dhiman, a government employee, was a native of the village of Dalla in Punjab (India) and his mother, Bachchan Kaur from Ottallan village, Samrala. He had four sisters and two brothers and he is known as Jeet by his family. He was raised as a Sikh.
He went to Khalsa High School in Sri Ganganagar and then studied science after matriculation at Government College, Sri Ganganagar and went onto DAV College, Jalandhar to graduate in arts. He is a post-graduate in history from Kurukshetra University.

Jagjit Singh’s association with music goes back to his childhood. He learnt music under Pandit Chaganlal Sharma for two years in Ganganagar, and later devoted six years to learning Khayal, Thumri and Dhrupad forms of Indian Classical Music from Ustad Jamaal Khan of the Sainia Gharana school.

Early career
The Vice-Chancellor of Punjab University and Kurukshetra University, Late Professor Suraj Bhan encouraged his interest in music. He arrived in Mumbai in 1965 in search of better opportunities for being a musician and singer. His early struggle in the music industry, though not too harsh by his own account, still had its share of trials and tribulations. He lived as a paying guest and his earlier assignments were singing advertisement jingles or performing at weddings and parties.

First Entry Into Movies
Jagjit Singh was first offered to sing in a Gujarati Film. "Dharati Na Chhoru" produced by Mr. Suresh Amin, famously known by Jagjit Singh as "Jholi Vaaley Baba" : known so, because he carried a Red Shoulder Bag Wherever he went. Mr Suresh Amin was from Baroda-Gujarat and was associated with Scad Consultants Pvt Ltd. When, Mr Suresh Amin died in 1998 and Scad Consultants, Baroda, Organized a Live Concert by Jagjit singh in December 1998 – Jagjit Singh [Famously Called by friends as Maharaj] paid a special Tribute to Mr Suresh Amin and dedicated the Scad Consultants Concert to Mr Suresh Amin by Singing the Ghazal " Chitthi Na Koi Sandesh "…. the perfect ghazal to match his unawareness of Suresh Amin’s Death ! ! This is what Jagjit Singh is for his Friends and Fans!!!

Rise to fame
During 1970s, the art of ghazal singing was dominated by well-established names like Noor Jehan, Malika Pukhraj, Begum Akhtar, Talat Mahmood and Mehdi Hassan. However, he was able to make his mark and carve out a niche for himself. In 1976, his album The Unforgettables (On HMV LP Records) hit music stores. Essentially a ghazal album, its emphasis on melody and Jagjit’s fresh voice was a departure from the prevalent style of ghazal rendition, which was heavily based on classical and semi-classical Indian music. Skeptics had their own reservations, purists scorned it but it was widely successful among listeners and the album set new sales records.

In 1967, Jagjit met Chitra, also a singer. After a two year courtship they got married (1969). They epitomize the first successful husband-wife singing team. Jagjit and Chitra Singh have made immense contributions to ‘Ghazal’ music and the Indian music industry in general.

Successful releases of the duo include Ecstasies, A Sound Affair and Passions. While these albums were breezy, Beyond Time released in the opening years of 1990s was an experimentation with sounds and conveyed a feeling that was beyond space and time.

Around this time the duo was struck by grief, when their only son, Vivek (21), met an untimely death in a road accident. Their subsequent album ‘Someone Somewhere’ was the last album with ghazals sung by both. The album is a tour of the soul, ethereal, conscientious and introspective. These ghazals have a moving quality to them since they embody a feeling of deep personal loss. After that, Chitra Singh quit singing.

Jagjit Singh’s later albums, including Hope, In Search, Insight, Mirage, Visions, Kahkashan (meaning "Galaxy"), Love Is Blind, Chirag (meaning "Lamp"/"Flame") also achieved success. Sajda (an Urdu word meaning "prostration"), which has ghazals sung by Jagjit and Lata Mangeshkar was another brilliant release and made its mark as a classic Ghazal album. The combined successes of his many albums made him the number one ghazal singer in India. The audience wanted more and Jagjit Singh obliged with his Punjabi albums. Ebullient, effervescent and bubbly, his Punjabi songs are pleasant as well as joyous. His enchanting ghazals use the choicest poetry by renowned poets including Mirza Ghalib, Firaq Gorakhpuri, Qateel Shifai, Ameer Meenai, Kafeel Aazer, Sudarshan Faakir and Nida Fazli, and contemporary writers like Zaka Siddiqi, Nazir Bakri, Faiz Ratlami and Rajesh Reddy.

Jagjit also sang (as playback singer) for various songs in Bollywood films including Arth, Saath Saath, and Premgeet (all from 1980s). These scores remain popular even today. In fact, all the songs of film Premgeet were composed by Jagjit. His compositions for the TV serial Mirza Ghalib (based on the life of the poet Mirza Ghalib), remain extremely popular among ghazal aficionados. The exclusive element of Ghalib’s poetry was sensitively and wonderfully brought out in the soulful compositions of Ghalib’s ghazals by Jagjit Singh. The album could veritably be called a magnum opus.

Compared to his earlier ghazals (sung during 70s and 80s) his later ghazals have acquired a more soulful and poignant demeanour, as in albums such as Marasim, Face To Face, Aaeena, Cry For Cry. But all through this, romance never took a backseat! The journey to the soul is punctuated by romantic pauses like Dil Kahin Hosh Kahin. A testimony to his popularity is his ghazals in recent Bollywood flicks like Dushman, Sarfarosh, Tum Bin and Tarkeeb.

Most of the earlier albums of Jagjit Singh had English titles. Later, these had Urdu names like Sahar (meaning "Dawn"/"Morning"), Muntazir (meaning "In waiting"), Marasim (meaning "Relation"/"Relationship"/"Affinity" ), and "Soz" (meaning Pathos). The switchover may not be deliberate but marks a milestone in his singing. These new albums show a far better selection of lyrics and his singing has scaled new peaks.

Besides ghazals, Jagjit Singh has also sung Bhajans and Gurbani (Hindu and Sikh devotional hymns respectively). Albums such as Maa, Hare Krishna, Hey Ram…Hey Ram, Ichhabal and also Man Jeetai Jagjeet in Punjabi, put him in the league of Bhajan singers such as Mukesh, Hari Om Sharan, Yesudas, Anup Jalota and Purushottam Das Jalota. The soothing effect that Jagjit’s voice has on frayed nerves has prompted psychiatrists in metros (as large cities in India are called) to prescribe them as stress relievers.

Jagjit Singh As a Brand
In 1998 Jagjit Singh in Association with a World Brand Promoter – Scad Consultants Pvt Ltd of Baroda-India: Launched " J A G J I T – K U R T A " . "The Jagjit Kurta" Launched by Scad Consultants.

The Brand that was Autheticated by the Maestro Himself and has been delivered with an Autographed Certificate of Authenticity. The Masetro, designed the Kurta himself and promoted it, even on TVS Sa-Re-Ga-Ma during a Live Program.
Influence
Jagjit Singh is accredited with bringing the ghazal genre, which was previously restricted to the elite classes, to the masses. His music direction can be seen to be pioneering in changing the sound layout by adding more Western instruments while mostly retaining the traditional orchestra (which includes a tablaa, dholak, bongos, sitar, sarod, santoor, flute, and harmonium, and a couple of string instruments]. Jagjit Singh is also nicknamed Ghazaljeet Singh.
Jagjit Singh is accredited with finding many playback singers in Bollywood in modern times like Kumar Sanu, Abhijeet, Talat Aziz.

Jagjit Singh voiced his opinion against artists from Pakistan being allowed to sing in India, when Pakistan refuses to reciprocate the gesture.

In addition to cultivating his own successful career, Jagjit Singh has been involved in guiding many new, talented singers such as Abhijeet, Talat Aziz, Ghanshyam Vaswani, Ashok Khosla, Siza Roy and Vinod Sehgal. He also lends active support to several philanthropic endeavors such as the Library at St. Mary’s (Mumbai), Bombay Hospital, CRY, and ALMA (an organization that adopts under-privileged students for further education and development).

Personal life
Jagjit Singh married the popular singer Chitra Singh in 1969.
They live in Vivek Singh Lane (a road dedicated to their son) on Breach Candy in Mumbai. Their only son, Vivek, died in a road accident in the early 1990s.
In January 1998, Jagjit Singh had his First Cardiac Insufficiency (heart attack) which led him to quit smoking. In October 2007, he was hospitalized following blood circulation problems.

Synopsis : HADBAHEDI, a small but beautiful village/town, is forward looking but honest. It competes for resources and recognition with a neighboring corrupt town Triphla. Hadbahedians believe that they have been totally neglected by the state and seek an identity of their under Arun Bakshi’s leadership. Things brighten when Arun discovers that Rishi/Chintu Kapoor was actually born in their village 55 years back. They send an invite to him and he accepts as he is looking at Politics to make a comeback in a big way and Hadbahedi could well be his constituency. Arun leads the people of Hadbahedi to dress up the town to welcome Chintu.

Chintu arrives in Hadbahedi along with Devika Malhotra, a young, dynamic, smart and intelligent executive of the PR agency hired for Rishi’s political dreams. Rishi is a nuisance at Hadbahedi and treats the innocent people of Hadbahedi with contempt. Devika however is able to relate to their simplicity and love for Chintu. Matters worsen when Chintu meets with an accident which immobilizes him and forces him and Devika to stay put in Hadbahedi. Arun and Devika get along well and their romance blossoms through the story while ruthless Chintu is falling prey to the tempting monetary and political offer made by Triphla. In the meantime an anxious Mumbai producer Malkani decides to finish his film featuring Rishi, at Hadbahedi itself. Arum mobilizes the town to help the guests in accomplishing their task.

Arun has a troublesome past he came to hide in Hadbahedi 6 years back! Arun’s past continues to haunt his relationship with Devika, and to make the matters worse a person from the past appears in Hadbahedi! The town by now has started getting the media and government’s attention due to Rishi’s stay in Hadbahedi. Arun leads the entire movement. Prosperity follows, and the urban vices become a threat to Hadbahedians. Several comic and poignant situations follow. Then Arun is witness to the secret meeting of Chintu with Triphla and he assumes that Devika is hand in glove with Chintu on this. Tensions follow but Arun and townfolk will not speak ill of Chintu as their own reputation shall suffer. Devika moved by the gesture, leaves Chintu and joins Arun. Through the film and at its climax the simplicity and goodness of the town folk is pitted against the selfish and ruthless behaviour of Rishi and other visitors.

Rishi with the tempting offer from Triphla, on one side, and Arun Devika with the townfolk on the other, are at the middle of a see-saw climax while concurrently Arun’s past unfolds for the audience.

Only when he’s shattered by life and unflinchingly looks at the sordid truth straight in the face – that he is freeloading off his elder sister Nisha, who, in order to offer him a decent life style, has become the mistress of a rich businessman, Aman Bajaj; is he is able to touch his inner core. Call it irony or a twist of fate, but the person who sees him through this dark night and mentors him when he’s down and out is none other than the sister of the person who he hates most in the world… Aman Bajaj. It is Sara, Aman’s sister, who makes him realize that he is an extremely talented man who is simply going through a bad phase and that the biggest crime a human being can commit, is to give up on himself. Spurred by life’s bittersweet lessons, and Sara’s genuine love and support, Akash, in the harshest winter of his life discovers an invincible summer within himself… thereby discovering his own voice. With this very special tune which has been soaked with the passion of his lived life, he not only touches his inexhaustible potential and becomes an overnight star but also brings dignity to his beleaguered sister, humbles his biggest detractor Aman Bajaj and in the process, lives up to the faith that Sara had in him all along.

When Sohan Seth (Dalip Tahil), a shrewd businessman, convinces many beleaguered farmers to sell their lands for his commercial interests some by using the violent tactics of the village’s heavy hand, Nirmal (Romeo) it shatters the harmony of village life, and Dayal’s family is jeopardized. Dayal Singh and his sons are locked into a battle of right; each is focused on their path to success. The brother’s are pitted against each other with a different outlook of land and its value as the crisis in the village unfolds. The ground at their feet, is it Motherland or simply Property? It spin tails them down a direction they can never return from, leading to a shocking turn of events as their women Priya (Dia Mirza) and Titli (Nauheed Cyrusi) add to the drama and conflict. In the struggle of land and brotherhood, tragedy befalls forcing each man to re-examine his convictions.

Is blood thicker than water?

Will loyalty and honor outlast stubbornness and pride?

Because land, land will outlast them all.
