Hindu Bhajan Remixed :) Dj Vipin – Govinda Bolo (Club Mix)

Posted by Admin On August - 10 - 2009

hindi devotional Video – Here’s a cool song by Mumbai based Deejay DJ Vipin, who remixed one of Hinduism’s most popular mantras with a driving and infectious backbeat. From the album Club Trippin. The music video was filmed in Mumbai, and shows how traditions cross all age and cultural boundaries. While some dumbass fundoos think this song is insulting, I think its a great tribute to the estatic devotional spirit of the mantra geet and the concept of devotional kirtan. Hey, if Krishna himself would have a blast …

we hindus should all come together as one. hinduism will not survive . dosent matter if you are from south or north or east or west as long as you are a hindu. dosent matter which language you speak. united we stand divided we fall thats the simple truth.think about it.

Sanatana Dharma is eternal… Krishna will always keep the Dharam alive; that is the nature of the eternal Dharma.

God will always emerge victorious in the end, even in Kali Yuga. We ourselves just need to follow the Dharma as revealed by the Shastra, especially the Gita, and our lives will become happy in this miserable world.

How about Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and the Gaudiya Vaishnavas? Dancing is a form of bhakti for them…

You don’t know how purifying it is to dance to the Names of God. :D It’s better than going to a club…

  4. Imspcl65 says:

I see myself dancing like this at the Hare Krishna temple in Berkeley and of course while doing Harinam Sankirtan…
    Haribol!!!

  5. Sarakiel says:

I would love to hear this played at a techno club…

  6. KaranLilPlaya says:

How could some people think this was offensive and insulting. I personally think that it is a good way of passing these mantras and bhajans onto the newer generation (I should know, i’m 13 :D )

  7. NeilsNimkar says:

I agree with the comment below!! I think ITS AWESOME!!!

  8. Sarakiel says:

Is it just me or does that first guy look suspiciously like Rob Zombie?

  9. Sarakiel says:

I found the CD this song is on, but I will have to special order it…I LOVE Amazon!

  10. DragoonNoR says:

    This song is sooo cool!

  11. pathakindia says:

hinduism wont ever die. if it didnt die under muslims rule or british, it wont. it has stood the test of time. there is a reason why ex indian prime minister murarji desai said “kuch baat hai humme , ke hasti mit ti nahi hamari”

  12. krohit99 says:

alright first a super pat on the back of the cool dudes who made this!!! what an awesome song!! its going to be on my playlist loop for some time for sure!

now on a serious note. i don’t think this is offensive BUT!!..bhajan is a form of bhakti yoga. yoga means “chitta-vritti” nirodha i.e, being in a state where there is no thought or feeling in once mind. this song makes me feel like its some dancefloor techno tune shit so it doesn’t serve the purpose of bhajan.

    but its cool otherwise!

I urge all the followers of hinduism plz read Gita and our great scriptures ,, how beautiful they are and contain wealth of knowledge ,, n understand wat thy r tryin to say !! most of the hindus don read scriptures n don understand the true meaning ,, our scriptures hv highly metaphorical language , hv hell lot of knowledge. I finishd Gita n now days reading vedas along with my mol bio research ,, n i feel bad y din i read thm at early stage of life.

“How people my corrupt Hindu Bhajan like that ?”

  15. budgiebudgielover says:

If people enjoy it, then why won’t the deities, it’s not like they are swearing at the or making fun of them. Everything evolves and changes somehow.

  16. KaranLilPlaya says:

I totally agree with you budgiebudgielover

  17. budgiebudgielover says:

Well, the deities didn’t say anything yet, so I quess they would like it. :D But, if they didn’t, they must! It’s made in honour of them.
You should read about the Hopi Clowns, they are the only people that are allowed to make fun of the gods without being punished. To become to Hopi clown you either have to dream of snakes and thunderstorms, and from that they undergo clowning rites and from that they become shaman.

  18. cameo747 says:

SONG is not insulting, the clowns in the video are indeed a mockery of a great religion.

DJ vipin has done a great job mixing but for the clowns in the video.

    Could have been bit better

  19. feloniousvindaloo says:
