i just finished watching your Video and was moved to tears! My parents are Rabari and moved to the US over 30 years ago and even though I was born and raised here in the US and have been to India many times it still amazes me seeing Rabaris in the very tradional clothing and simple lifestyles which is changing as younger generations are being educated and opt for more western clothing. What part of India were picturs taken and did you take them? Thank you again!

It’s like watching the Roma(gypsies) and I see so strongly our roots in the eyes especially.
The opening notes of the male singer remind me of many Roma songs.
    Beautiful and thank you…

Hey Manisha, I am Rabari too. This pics r most probably taken in Kutch. Thnxs this person for immortalizing the real ‘Rabari’!

  25. australianrabari says:

Thnxs Mitchell, I am a Rabari myself, and I miss the down to earth Rabari lifestyle; Words r not enough to express my thnxs for immortalizing the Rabari. I am sure that this Pics must be taken in either Kutch or Surendranagar District of Gujarat.
