1. तुर्की के एक हैकर ने इंटरनेट सिक्योरिटी को तार-तार कर कर बीते पखवाड़े एक ही दिन में 21 हजार से ज्यादा वेबसाइटें हैक की।
2. पूर्व में वोडाफोन, सोनी म्यूजिक स्टूडियो, सोनी म्यूजिक इंट और भारत की एसबीआई साइटों को भी हैक किया जा चुका है।
3. कम्प्यूटर सुरक्षा तंत्र पर काम कर रही लंदन स्थित अंतरराष्ट्रीय संस्था एम आई 2 जी के अनुसार अब कम्प्यूटर आतंकवाद अब पहले से ज्यादा संगठित होता जा रहा है। अब तमाम देशों की महत्वपूर्ण वेबसाइटें जैसे पावर स्टेशन और जल संसाधनों की कम्प्यूटर नियंत्रित प्रणाली भी आतंकवादियों के सीधे निशाने पर होने की संभावनाओं से इन्कार नहीं किया जा सकता।

5. इनमें से कई भारतीय वेबसाइटों को हैक करने की सभी संभावित संभावनाएं तलाशते हैं। पासवर्ड चुराकर डी एन एस संरचना में छेड़छाड़ कर भारतीय वेबसाइटों को सत्यानाश करने में जुटे अपराधी जिन साइटों को अपना निशाना बना चुके हैं उसमें भाभा एटोमिक रिसर्च इंस्टीट्यूट और विदेश मंत्रालय जैसी वेबसाइटें भी शामिल हैं।
